Michelle Ragozzine & Associates is seeking full-time and part-time ABA therapists to provide behavior therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities. Candidates will be based out of either our Milford or Norwalk office (we have opportunities in both locations), but must be willing to travel within a 30 mile radius of their assigned location. Services are provided in our facilities, schools, homes, and the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with special needs
- Collecting data on skills for improvement and behaviors for reduction
- Implementing behavior plans as appropriate
- Some staff may also be asked to provide parent training
Training Program:
- All new staff are paid to complete the 40 hour RBT training and receive reimbursement for taking the RBT exam
- Staff receive training in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) from our Directors of Staff Development
- Staff complete extensive hours of hands on training with current staff and our Directors of Staff Development BEFORE taking on any clients (1-3 months)
- Once staff take on clients, they are provided with on-going support from the BCBAs and Directors of Staff Development during sessions as much as is needed (daily if needed)
Qualifications needed:
- Some college coursework, preferably a Bachelor's Degree
- Experience providing ABA services would be an asset, however entry level candidates will also be considered
- Training in Pivotal Response Treatments is preferred but not required
